A. Hughes & Son have been one of the leading collectors and processors of used cooking oil in the UK since the mid 1990’s.

Collected fats and oil include

·         Food factory oils and fats

·         Used deep fat fryer oil from chip shops and other catering establishments

·         Rotisserie oils and fats

Used cooking oils are collected from a range of catering establishments and food factories and then brought back to our plant to begin the refinery process, which consist of a series of cleaning, filtration and blending stages in our dedicated plant.

The recovered oils can be blended to individual customer requirements to suit a range of applications for the production of biodiesel or direct use as renewable fuel in power generation plants.
